Make It Without You
Tears on my pillow from knowing there will be no answer if I knock on your door Holding my phone in my hand, but you can't answer anymore I feel lost knowing you're gone, I don't know what to do God must have needed you more, so I've got to find a way to make it without you I hope you're comfortable in your new room in heaven I hope god has made you a nice cup of tea Can you make it rain tonight Just so I know you're looking down on me My eyes are filled with tears that you'd tell me not to cry It just hit me that I'll never hear your voice again You're finally at peace, but I'm selfish and wish you didn't die I know I have to accept it, but I really want to avoid the pain You were the mother that mine was unable to be We would sit and talk, you'd give advice to me I'm smiling for the world and trying to pretend that nothing is wrong I walked over to your front door the other day, then I remembered that you're gone You did more for me in 6 years than my family did in my whole life Can you send me a sign to let me know everything will be okay during the night? You were my mums neighbour, but became such a great friend to me I miss you Pauline, you're now the Guardian angel I can no longer see Tears on my pillow from knowing there will be no answer if I knock on your door Holding my phone in my hand, but you can't answer anymore I feel lost knowing you're gone, I don't know what to do God must have needed you more, so I've got to find a way to make it without you
