God's People
GOD'S PEOPLE God is the Creator of all there is A man from the dust of the ground Woman was made from man's rib No greater miracle can be found He placed them in a garden rare A veritable paradise Faced without a worry or care They thought it to be quite nice But a serpent entered their haven And filled their mind with lies About an apple the lady was craving She took a bite with great surprise She told the man of her discovery Enticed him to take a bite Now the world shows no recovery From this devastating blight But God, in His infinite wisdom Has a plan for the people of earth A plan that grants them freedom And after death, an eternal birth So turn your eyes upon Jesus His people will forever be The people God places in paradise To reign for eternity 2 December 2017
