Men Shouldn'T Cry
I was always told that men shouldn't cry, so I cry with the ink instead The way I pour my heart out, you'd think I'm dead Smiling for the world, but inside I'm dying slow Hiding the emotions I'm told I shouldn't show Born alone, die alone, I trust no one, because people always leave Thankful for those who ripped my heart out, because I know I'm living when I bleed It's crazy, how people can make fake love, look so real But if it's an eye for an eye, then I'll become Bushwick Bill Bipolar mixed with Brandy isn't the Greatest combination Here I am, thinking about the words I never said and Wasted conversations I'm trying to keep it simple, but life keeps on making complications I stay to myself because I don't know how to take the population 5 years free from self-harm, I finally realized I don't need blades But i'm still missing my ex girl instead of going on my dream date That's like going for leftovers instead of starting with a clean plate Torture myself with all the chances I've seen escape My hearts been left broken, keep them if you find any pieces We're told men being emotional is a sign of weakness Well this is as weak as I'll ever be, but I feel stronger than before I've got depression on the ropes and it's time to defeat it I was always told that men shouldn't cry, so I cry with the ink instead The way I pour my heart out, you'd think I'm dead Smiling for the world, but inside I'm dying slow Hiding the emotions I'm told I shouldn't show
