Enter Poem or Quote (Required) He edged his way towards the wooden door which often had intrigued his fertile mind. With racing heart he put his trembling hand upon the latch and pressed it gently down. It opened slowly and a chink of light invited him to cross the virtual line which gave access to eager novelty. Up narrow winding stairs he groped his way, when all at once he halted in his tracks as music somehow caught him unawares. Then mesmerized he followed in its wake transported by arousing sound, till when the balcony came into view, and awed he stood enraptured by a new found love: as time stood still, the organ cast its spell. Then silence fell, and with a sense of guilt, he hastily retreated down the stairs. This ten year old went home and in his room lay on his bed, wrapped in euphoria, his mind made up at such a tender age.
