A Nightmare
" A NIGHTMARE " I remember the good days, When you were there to hold my hand. Teaching me the right ways, You protected me from the wrong end. You taught me how to fly, And that the limit is beyond the sky. In all my ups and downs, You were the one to count on. But I woke up to this nightmare, That you've been sent elsewhere . Now the heart carries a deep wound, I promise I try, but can't move on. Like a constant in my life, Your support helped me survive. Your prayers kept me strong, Helping me face the darkest times. And I woke up to this nightmare, That your soul was to be found nowhere, Earth was gloomy in dismay; I remember that dark September day. The sorrow is too much, For I cannot bear the loss, Because I feel very small, I'm afraid I'll stumble and fall. For I woke up to this nightmare, And I miss your love and care, They ask me to move on, But I deny the fact that you're gone.
