Then the storms came in, the skies turned black, told never to tell. Then the winds picked up and I was beat around, and forgot how beautiful I really am. I finally found the sunshine, and as soon as I touched it, it was gone again. This went on for many years I had no idea, a butterfly could run out of tears. I started drinking the nectar of the flower of doom at first it was fun and exciting and something to do, I found that it eased the pain and made me numb and started to run my life, and then someone close faded fast and the flower of doom started to consume everything I had left. Now that my guard is down, bad things happen at ease, and a bad place for a butterfly is being on its knees. I told myself I wish someone would just step on me. I passed a person the other day that looked at me, and seen the beauty within me, and told me I have been forgiven you see, it gave me hope and strength and then that person sat and talked and prayed with me, that gave me the courage to flap my wings and set a focus on the good things. I will overcome the bad, and beat this little thing. For I am a butterfly beautiful inside and out I will overcome because I know that there is people out there that truly cares and believes in me, I will overcome. As I start flying again I remember being that butterfly not a care in the world, riding the breeze the sun on my back, floating with ease and I will overcome. and live that long life, and be that Amazing person Lord you built me to be.
