My Good-Bye In Song
You came away looking innocent, nothing pointed out to suspecion that could do a lot harm... by hiding what was really important; even the words you said made such a good impression to let you have me whenever you would, to shut those eyes to something very wrong! My good-bye in song will help you carry along; inside I may hurt...but not very long; who will be by my side when the need is strong? My good-bye in song can't be explained without words... to feel the loss in my empty hands! Someone's else eyes search for mine, how could I betray the truest and deepest feeling... remembering the warm touches we were sharing? Another hand is ready to hold mine, and another smile different from yours... can change, overnight, these love-blues! My good-bye in song is no exscuse to forget my set-back; only to hold on this regret... until I hear your apology, but who can bring back that fantasy?
