At the stars I stare and start to wonder, is it my past that keeps me under. You’re on my mind day after day, I know I should tell you but never say. It’s serenity I seek but never find. The real demons, are within my mind. I try to face them but never do, it’s hard to hear the problem is you. The love I can give will never be whole, until I learn to cleanse my soul. I need self healing, I need to grieve, pour out my heart and let it bleed. The drugs were always just a distraction, from the necessity of internal interaction. I’d like to try, but am far from ready. The burdens I carry are just too heavy.
