Fabulous Story Telling Trick Or Treaters
They giggle at my witch outfit, not realizing it is the real me. I love the excitement of Halloween, it is a creepy night to be. They are sharing their stories, no one listening to another. Behind them stand their puffed-up father or grandmother. The moms are all on brooms tonight, flying around the moon. To hear them tell it, they are sexual beings who make Dracula swoon. In actuality, the adults are who I care not a whit about. I am listening to the little ones, their laughter and a shout. Their stories are fascinating, they all have something to announce. One is hopping beside a tiny toad; I see her skip and pounce. In a notebook my muse is capturing their thoughts and ideas too. They have terrific stories, that I will soon write up for you.
