Stolen Life
Stolen Life The years of innocence were short. You were not the mother, You should have been. Yet, I forgive you. Things were worse, as the ripples, kept washing up, on the shores of the sea.. “The Sea of Forgetfulness”! I embrace my Lord, I tell him all is well. I never had children. The damage on my body, was too great. I never had what others take… as a piece of the puzzle, of life. There were five corners in my box. You told me… to keep the last one, as it would mean… things were over. I should have tossed it. Now you have come to live with me. I am old, you are ancient. I am glad you are here. Again, I forgave you, I forgive you… Yet, you lived to take away, my golden years. You lived to take away, most of what you gave me, every chance you had. I still forgave you, forgive you, and love you. That is the miracle.
