Unseen Needs
Unseen Needs The angel watched the woman, filling up her purse, with leftovers… usually thrown out at the end of the gathering. She was careful to make sure, only to take, what no one wanted, what no one had use of, or for. The angel kept watching, as the sad woman continued on. She helped clean up the rest, the pans the dishes, the floors the sinks, with a cheerful smile. The next morning, the woman prepares for the day. She kisses her kid, and sends her on her way. Lunch bell rings… her daughter finds, a piece of chicken, a half eaten cookie and several tiny olives. Hungrily she chews them down. Her mom was, and is so silly… She never knows what is going to be “In her lunch”. Laying in the open, on the lunch bench, near to her cartoon of milk, a small note. in long hand… “Hail to the Princess of the Wild Arugalas!” Love, Mom.
