The Day After Today
Refrain I: “The day after today shall be the one I adore, for tomorrow will be better than the day before. When the darkness hovers I shall see the light, and all the stress and fear will be out of sight. I shall show you things you’ve always dreamed of-f-f… a day of hope filled with kindness and love.” Chorus: “O, show me a good tomorrow, a day without sorrow- Where I wander in good faith, and don’t beg, steal or borrow. Only give the good I know I could-d-d-d…. live in a world where sympathy is understood.” Refrain II “The day after today shall be one of compassion, where we all bestow charity with sincere passion. Feel the crisp Autumn breeze against my skin, holding onto all the beauty and grace from within. I shall show you things of love and light-t-t... where all your stress and fear swill be out of sight.” Chorus: “O, show me a good tomorrow, a day without sorrow- Where I wander in good faith, and don’t beg, steal or borrow. Only give the good I know I could-d-d-d... live in a world where sympathy is understood.” (pause) Oh yeah...(pause) in a world where sympathy is understood..."
