A Love For My Tomorrow
I will love you for all my tomorrows, yet, tomorrow I must let you go; but I promise each day I will whisper your name, oh yes, tomorrow will be difficult; because my tomorrow will be without you, and my heart tells me that cannot be true. Tonight in my dream- we are kissing, I feel so safe in your strong arms; and all my sorrow you kiss away with your lips, as we drift on a cloud of forever . . . I am afraid, I whisper; and you wipe away my tears. If only I could change tomorrow into yesterdays, but there is no going back; tomorrow is our destiny. Tomorrow I will be strong, and pledge to you all my tomorrows; because your will always be part of my heart, in my pocket I have all the broken pieces; all the shattered shards I will keep always, for all my tomorrows yet to come. After your funeral- I kissed your cold stone, as snow fell like kisses and I whispered; will love you my darling, today, tomorrow and for eternity. _____________________________ November 8, 2018 Poetry/Lyric/A Love For My Tomorrow Copyright Protected, ID 18- 1083-659-01 All Rights Reserved.
