Broken
Have you ever loved someone so much, you continue to stay with them after many broken promises? Everyday another broken promise, Everyday one more tear falls down your cheek? Loving another person with all your soul? Imagine loving someone that loves drugs more than you. You start to question your worth, your place in their life, but more than anything you question when enough will be enough. Sleepless nights wonderin' if this will be the last time you see them alive? Will this be the last time you have the chance to beg them to change? I loved you more than anything in this entire world, I just wanted you to see I wanted you, but I didn't want you like this. January 29th I walked out. You begged me to stay, I begged you to change. You couldn't see the wrong and you didnt see you the way I saw you. The names you would call me, the way you would talk to me, waking up to find you passed out in the chair waking you to make sure you didn't die while I was alseep. I loved you even through all this. You were the most amazing person ever when the drugs were out. You told me I was beautiful, I never doubted your love. I dreaded the day you would go to the pharamacy, I counted down the days until the pills were gone. February 23rd you went to heaven. I still question myself, what if I never walked out, why didn't I beg you one more time to get help, why didn't I deal with the bad days, just to live the good ones with you. You're gone now and I miss you more and more everyday. So many promises, broke. So many plans, canceled. So many tears, shed. One broken heart & an guardian angel. I miss you James, see you soon.
