The lollipop time of the 60's was over. It was gas lines and hostages not crimson and clover. We lived each day with Aquarius dreams in a wistful world of worn out jeans. Corruption was quite commonplace. Shame was the word for the human race. Death, blood, violence and lots of hair as streakers ran through crowds, stark bare. We saw a war each night on TV. Then tuned to "All in the Family." Nuclear power plants flourished and grew. Were they safe? Who cared or knew. Serial killers having their play while 918 died Jim Jones' way broken homes and addictions the rage, disco dancers twisting in a cage hijackings and terrorism bombs Worship the moon.
