The heart is a crater 
left smouldering cut deep
What does it matter
if I cannot sleep

You travel peacefully
in the green zoo your wild
caged like a dark creature
banging your music bars 
your beaten notes marking stolen time

I glide like Cimmerian Traumgöttin
cutting your heart into fine lines
with machine gun precision
no need for a blindfold, all the better -
I’m executing you with style

My heart is a crater
boiling blood rivers run down 
dark deep down to the underworld 
riding the River Styx, no need for a gown
I lie supine in my macabre gondola
I’ve left your House of Cards and it’s tricks

A different Ferryman moves his oar 
he’s from another land, 
the Land of Hemimetabola
I calmly pluck your death tune feeling soothed
on my sad macabre exquisite mandola

Close my eyes, swallow dreams of straw houses
blown down by the son of chaos, dark Steppenwolf 
In the ether my twin soul possesses me, I’ve been bit
I was Aether, now I’m her reflection, I no longer sit

Stumbling between the Immensities, 
her dark majesty moves inside me
in the River's mirror, she now smiles back
"Welcome Home dear daughter," she decrees,
"I am Nyx".
