I met you in a little town
I was nothing more than shy with a frown
You broke me lose from my shell
You knew me very well
We became close
Best friends even
This friendship was pure
No treason
You were rather annoying
Got on my nerves
But I was just hiding
The fact that I liked you more than a friend
Fast forward
One year later
We were both ninth graders
In the same class
I was glad
Fast forward to now
You're dating a girl
Who cheats on you
I would never do that to you
You've yet to see
She's not worthy of your heart
You've always been so amazing
Not to mention stunning
Needless to say
We've claimed out true feelings
But we're not dating
We have a "thing"
A thing that has made me complete
A thing that makes me believe
That there will some day
Be a you and me
Obviously not right now
We have decided to keep this thing on the down low
Which is fine
As long as I have you
This thing will hopefully someday
Become something 
But until then
I'll cherish you just as I have for three years
You're so amazing
