You have lost a child and you cannot bare
Bare the pain of his loss, for it's not fair
He was so young, he was so loved
For why did God have to take him above
At his young age, he was just starting his dreams
His dreams of life and happiness, with everyone it seems
He always smiled, he always loved
For why did God have to take him above
He had a life, he had hope
Now it's very hard to cope
Cope with the loss of a loved son
For you think of your happiness as done

Please live on as others need you
Your family still needs what it is you do
And that is take care of them to your best
Knowing within the arms of God your son rests
He was lucky and proud to have a parent like you
For all you did was for your children too
You are a wonderful person and don't deserve this pain
The pain of this loss is too hard to explain
Please know your son loved so true
And a loss like this should not have to consume you
Please know, he knows you wanted to say goodbye
For within the arms of God he lies
He will always be alive in your heart
For all your memories will never part
