Poem

The fire begins as the phoenix rebirths from the ashes.
It flies on fiery wings of destruction and grace,
As does the fire, as it rips through the trees of the ancient forest.
The phoenix is quick,
The trees easily turned into black silhouettes,
And only the water brought by the heroes can put either out.

The battle of elements is continuous,
Water against fire,
Fire against water,
Destruction only a constant fatality in the never ending war.
The fire takes ahold of the land,
The spirit of the phoenix taking up trees,
Houses of wood,
And the flesh of life.

The water must watch helplessly at first,
For it does not have the grace and mobility like the flames.
It is only when life enters the war yet again,
That the water can take the action needed.
The dolphin chases the phoenix,
Bouncing over the waves,
Engulfing the flames but never stopping. 
For it can not stop, 
Until the phoenix is extinguished as well.

When it is all over,
As always the dolphin is victorious,
The phoenix reduced to wispy ashes,
Ones that soon get carried away by the wind.
The dolphin returns to the sea,
Another battle under its belt, 
But it knows the war is not over,
For it is never over.
Those ashes will fall somewhere else,
And once again,
The phoenix is rebirthed from the black soot,
Ready to start the chase again.
