Oldest of five brothers, I was the one who got away with everything. Spent thirty years as a Navy Reservist. People say I'm a little crazy. Thank God, normal people lead mundane lives. My greatest love is kids and I spend weekends working with abused kids with psychiatric problems almost always created by adult animals. I like music, mostly country and early rock. Married for forty years (my wife will be given the Medal of Honor) and have four kids, a 36 and 35 year old and two 23 year olds. The twins are a boy and girl. Including me, my wife has five. Got 5 grand kids. I'm big on amusement parks and would work for Mickey and Donald any day. I've seen a lot of the world (14 countries) and definitely miss the travelling with the Navy. I'm a firm believer in the power of prayer. I love this planet, so I'm going to stay awhile. I do believe war could be a necessity only in defense of your country and not as an excuse to prospect for oil. I believe that if there is any honesty or integrity in Washington, the guy is in the wrong city. People I most admire include Jimmy Carter, JFK and Billly Graham. I'm pro-life and anti- political correctness. I think the problem with political jokes is that most of them get elected.

Political Jokes
Blog Posted:4/29/2008 6:01:00 PM

I don't listen to political jokes, I just let them speak. I'm wondering if they should have signs tatooed on them. "OWNED AND OPERATED BY' and then the name of the corporations that own them. We've come so far down since the sixties that it would take a new revolution to gain back what we once had. If you actually believe Washington is running the country, think again. OPEC owns most of congress and our man at the top. They wanted to do this price gouging in the late 60's and early 70's but Washingtion put controls on and allowed so much. Now that OPEC owns the federal government,  we are pretty much at their mercy..  They will eventually eliminate the middle class and we will have the elite and their subjects. Take a long look at what is happening and say it isn't so. If the workers wage went up at the same percentage that CEO's pay went up in the last 20 years, the minimum wage would be approximately $35.00 an hour, and the average wage over $50.00 an hour. Wamu bank executives just passed bylaws protecting executive bonuses ahead of the customer or the shareholders. The clowns in Washington just turned their heads and looked the other way. Where the hell are the fighters? Where are the patriots? Have we already become the apathetic robots that they are training us to become? If our present leaders had any testicles at all, they would have nationalized the oil fields and if the executive balked, they would have been looking at military action. We need someone that is not owned and operated by the corporate structure or we need to tear it down and rebuild. So, if you want to listen to political jokes, they will be speaking between now and November. God Bless America.

I'm pretty certain congress is revolting. Working class is all I've ever been. The second revolution will work for a while Vince. Just like the first one did. It aint worked in quite some time. The fifties was the last hurrah

Its not just America Vince, everyone seems to think South Africa is all democratic now, and our new president and democratic country is blossoming with beauty, newfound peace and happiness. The reality is we now have affirmative action - same as apartheid, but this is against all that are non black! All job opportunities state - affirmative action position. What do we do, crime s athe highest it has ever been,Aids is killing our country, and our president has an eight foot razor alarmed wall!

absolutely...god bless america, but even more so,god bless those who really care;and can't be bought and sold with hypocritical rhetoric....which undermines the forefathers original thoughts,of true democracy;a country of the people, for the people...and you're right,if it weren't for the few,we would still be believing the world is flat, which is my point exactly...without the intelligence to at least question what we're told to believe,we might as well be just herded cattle ,god bless peace ,jay
