Life is a river.. Always moving, always changing. We never really know when one will come, when one will go. So we love. We give our flowers this side of the grave so the living can see and sense our affection. For those of us in the river now.. Let's ride this tide together. Enjoy each moment. Savor the works and the comments, and cherish those who unzip their hearts and let us see a bit of who they really are. Thank you Gail for treasured words that touch our souls and remind us to value all that we say we love. Blessings..

Gail, it's always sad when good friends leave. I remember when I came here just after the end of 2009, people even then were telling me that "Old members" were leaving, so apparently it's an ongoing thing. I can't see myself ever going. I think if I were a more ambitious sort of person, I would try my hand at a site where I could get better possibilities of publication or contests with cash prizes, things like that. But I get used to a place like this and I just hang in there I am also the longest-time teaching employee at my school. Everyone comes and goes and I am always just hanging around at that place! Maybe till I die with no retirement haha. A heartfelt blog, dear. Hope you never go!!

With Jack Ellison saying farewell but not goodbye... Things have gotten quieter... And John Wulf reads poems but doesn't write... So many are leaving that it's sad... I'm glad you're still here Gail Angel Doyle... Your friend.
