He sits by the window and watches the trees Soon he will sleep, fall away with the night The moon slinging low like an expert trapeze Sifts the mind lifts the soul & enters in lightHe holds me spell bound like a mystery parfait Blooming verses like baubles on an orient tree The clouds wrap us soft, like a fragrance sachet Him and I on the moon, drinking strawberry tea I un-wrap the tinsel and lose all my pretenses Blowing aerial kisses in his meadows of green In jingles & jangles he slows down my senses Besotted and smitten, I am only, his dream.
