 I am Autumn Love Ehrhardt.
Most important I am
fitting into the skin of a poet,
Pisces March 10th, 1970
I live by the majestic Flatirons of Boulder Colorado
I teach English and theatre at Wheat Ridge High School
But more than that I am
being human
I love my husband Steven, daughter India, and son Oliver
I admire the unique passion and drive of my students
We are a family as well.
I write daily and my poetry is numbered from June 2009.
All pieces are revised from the daily entries.
So there is much more to come.
I feel blessed to have a place to write and read poetry.

I threw way my notebook to start again

Our cells regenerate every 7 years. Our committed love relationships go through shifts and trials on the same time table. I threw away my notebook that recorded my dark tale. Am I free yet? I re-read that notebook more than a dozen times. It lived in my purse for 2 years. Finally, I stopped and realized the recorded sin and insanity. Done with it. Jealousy, anger, lust, attraction, greed, arrogance, exist--without end--exist. I don't want this ledger of how it could or couldn't. The question is answered. The notebook is rotting, and I am aware of how it helped me grow. The end is this poet's new beginning. My new notebook is the same brand, but the notes are lighter. I have transformed. Join me.
