 Well I am not sure what to say here except to tell you that much of my story is told through my poetry...I have often written about my journey... I have a brother and sister I love dearly and a mom with dementia who doesn't know me but I love her dearly also...I have many good friends and two cats who are much loved...I have alot of interests including playing guitar,keyboard and harmonica,making all kinds of crafts,writing and cooking to name a few.I have had my poetry published in a couple of anthologies but I'm told they'll publish anyone...haha!!Anyhow I'm complicated and simple at the same time ..and I love the warmth of the poets on this site...oh by the way I was born in California(West Covina) and now live in Pennsylvania with alot of travel in between the two!Just moved back to PA. which I really consider my home.

The Atheist and the Bear

There was an atheist out walking in the world one day.He was admiring the trees,the sky and the mountains when he heard some loud rustling behind him.All of a sudden a huge bear appeared behind him and began to chase him. He ran like the dickens and the bear continued to give chase.It was nearly on top of him and raised it's huge paw to swipe at him when the man yelled out "Oh my god".At that instant the sky lit up and a booming voice came from up above and exclaimed "all these years you have denied my existence and denounced me and now you cry out my name?"The atheist says "I'm sorry and I know it would be hypocritical of me to ask you to consider me a Christian now but could you at least please make this bear a Christian?" Suddenly the atheist looked over to see this huge bear putting it's big paws together as if in prayer.The bear says "thank you dear Lord for this sumptuous meal I"m about to have"........
