 Well I am not sure what to say here except to tell you that much of my story is told through my poetry...I have often written about my journey... I have a brother and sister I love dearly and a mom with dementia who doesn't know me but I love her dearly also...I have many good friends and two cats who are much loved...I have alot of interests including playing guitar,keyboard and harmonica,making all kinds of crafts,writing and cooking to name a few.I have had my poetry published in a couple of anthologies but I'm told they'll publish anyone...haha!!Anyhow I'm complicated and simple at the same time ..and I love the warmth of the poets on this site...oh by the way I was born in California(West Covina) and now live in Pennsylvania with alot of travel in between the two!Just moved back to PA. which I really consider my home.

Got Any Grapes?

A duck waddles into a convenience store and says to the clerk " Got any grapes?"
"No we don't sell grapes here" says the clerk...
The next day the duck goes into the store,sidles up to the clerk and says "Got any grapes?
A little frustrated the clerk tells the duck "No I told you we don't sell grapes here!"
Out goes the duck. The very next day the duck was back..."Got any grapes?" it asks...
Now the clerk was quite irate and she yells at the duck"No and if you come in here and ask again I am going to nail your beak to the counter,I swear I will !!"
The next day the duck appeared and asks the clerk"Got any nails?" "NO" yells the clerk
"Whew! "says the duck.."got any grapes?"
