I  am a writer, a poet. I love  Renaissance art, classical music, nature, meditation, dreaming.  I collect old books, vintage clothing and jewelry  I seem to like anything old,  I adore the old house Victorian house where I live. and I often feel out of place in this world.

I would describe my poetry as dark and sad, but I can write happy for contests or if the mood hits me, but my style of writing is definitely  deep, dark and sad~~

"Everything is possible for he that believes" Mark 9:23

I have been writing since I was a child,in an attic room, I wrote my first poems, my Grandmother was my muse and mentor.  And  now, I write of my journey in this life, the path, and all the twists and turns, along the way. I write of death, sadness, happiness, of nature and faith.

I write the poem, I paint a picture with words, I am a storyteller, I am a voice for the spirit of my "People" of the First Nation~~

A Labyrinth Of Thoughts . . .

Blog Posted:6/21/2013 7:23:00 AM
Labyrinth is my favourite word today for some odd reason . . .  a maze, knot, tangle,  intricacy, a winding way . . .  it fills me with thoughts of overwhelming gratitude to all the poets on the soup who have commented on my poetry and for the sponsors who have honoured my poetry in their contests, I am lost for words to express the encouragement and inspiration you give to me, the strength to endure although my health is a never ending sword. It keeps me sane.  I do not like to write happy, not sure why, but love deep and dark, it is my beloved theme.  I was born in a storm, perhaps that is the reason why.

Anyways, thank you from my very soul . . . .

Noted Constance! Agape is my cookie cutter copy, although I've been known to be a bit sloppy and not an exact copy. The power of choice, at least, is divine. Agape, Moses

Your work has always been deeply sensitive, Constance.......and is a mainstay of Poetry Soup. It reveals your heart, and history of sad events, but is never without hope. Take care and thank you for your inspiration.

Constance, I love this blog post! I couldn't agree more about the word "labyrinth." And it's a two-way street - we are so lucky to have the opportunity to read your poetry, and to enter your contests!
