 I am a writer, a poet. I love Renaissance art, classical music, nature, meditation, dreaming. I collect old books, vintage clothing and jewelry I seem to like anything old, I adore the old house Victorian house where I live. and I often feel out of place in this world. I would describe my poetry as dark and sad, but I can write happy for contests or if the mood hits me, but my style of writing is definitely deep, dark and sad~~ "Everything is possible for he that believes" Mark 9:23 I have been writing since I was a child,in an attic room, I wrote my first poems, my Grandmother was my muse and mentor. And now, I write of my journey in this life, the path, and all the twists and turns, along the way. I write of death, sadness, happiness, of nature and faith. I write the poem, I paint a picture with words, I am a storyteller, I am a voice for the spirit of my "People" of the First Nation~~

A Message From Linda-Marie . . .

I received a telephone message from Linda-Marie and she asked me to pass it on to all her friends on Poetry Soup. She has been very sick and ended up in the hospital for 3 weeks with kidney problems, now she is in rehab, she has been there now for about 3 weeks and is not sure how much longer she has to stay. She has no computer access. Her husband is also not well, so he cannot post for her, so she asked me to say hello and tell you all she misses you. She will come back as soon as she is able.
As for me, I am doing well, have not been on the Soup that much recently, nor have I written that much, but when I do write it is very meaningful to me and I love the comments I get from those who honour me by reading my poetry.
