 A Season Awakened
Buds left in disguise under the dirt floor Have found a time to grow once more Into flowers that decorate a season in bloom Awakened from their magical scents of perfumes
A season awakened at last Winter’s chill still hides in the overcast Yet when the sunshine peeps through the skies The birds will see a trail to whence they can fly
Everything that has turned frail Will find its way of strength and prevail To fight against the winds which still remain From the winter’s sting that persists between the rain
Instead, they will focus on the rain as a way to quench Their thirst of undying strength So that a season awakened can keep on showing A magical beauty of spring as it remains growing…
