I agree with you on the need to not hide these things. i am fortunate to not have an abusive spouse.

I've found in the past that writing helps release pain and let go of anger. How brave of her to share with us her deepest sorrow and the horrid personal ordeal she has gone through. NO ONE should ever do this to another human being !!
