Al-khalili's Biography
Poetry, music, and art. Three creations where the heart's warmth of a summer day or it's massive breeze of a winter's gloomy night. Where freedom comes into role and nothing is rejected, nothing is questioned. About me, what about I is all composed within those three creations. Poetry. Poetry has changed my life completely, not in an emotional or physical way yet in a mental way. Where description and imagination is involved. There are no jurisdictions towards what I feel when I write, there are no borders to poetry, it is truly unlimited. Poetry has left this expression of raw emotions that is connected to a pen and paper, to maybe hands and a keyboard. Yet what is poetry to me... poetry is my best friend, my colleague and my master.
Music on the other hand has it's ways of discriminating between its genres, yet music is another way to express the limitless ways of emotion and feelings. I listen to everything, from heavy metal to classical music, from techno and trance to jazz and blues. Anything with beautiful lyrics and great composition can leave me breathless or even enough to inspire me to write a poem. I love music.
Art, in other words, art is what we see in life. Art is emotions yet in a physical and see-able point of view. Art is not only a painting or hobby. Art is sex, rage, humor, happiness, love and many more. We see art everywhere and we judge upon what we see as either humor, outrageous or uplifting. What we see in this world gives a hint of what the other world can be like. Art is another dimension of life.
In conclusion, what about I? I am like you, like her or him yet with different beliefs or the same. I am the originality of what I learned or what I have been taught. I am who I am. I am Sami Al-khalili.
