Welcome the Jungle There is a strength not understood--
Something taught that we never should--
To cease this and end the searching--
For the purpose has turned to less--
And life you can no longer 2nd guess

Welcome the Jungle

I need a lady to love I need a lady to love
Someone to live with
Someone to take care of
Who can make my heart rise
Just looking into her eyes

In the Fight... In the Fight... there is no music,
No colors to dress the flag,
No mighty songs of praise,
Only the pain if you're alive,
And the darkness if you're dead...

In the Fight... there is no time,
No place to pause,
No taste to that sweet sweat,
Only the understanding that dying is knowing,
For that next moment might be your last
And you don't want to be something that is past

Diamonds on Elephant Ears Diamonds on Elephant Ears,
A beauty from Heaven's tears.
Silver and green in a pretty, little scene,
Water reflecting light like a firefly in the night.
All atop velvetty ears every sumer year

(Elephant Ears are a type of plant. When water droplets restupon them and the light reflects off of them they look like little diamonds.)

My Big Feet So much depends on the weather,
But it doesn't matter--
Some stare, other glare.
It's funny I admit, the looks I get--
They bring their own atmosphere.
Still they hurt, and it isn't fair--
They're so big, popping out everywhere.
Someone called me...
"Double D", a "Boulderholder", and "Juggs McCoy"--
(sigh)
"Fun for girls and boys"

The very beautiful and the very ugly The very beautiful and the very ugly share a fate--Each are lost. For one who is your friend the other where--The first built a wall the second a ward--Because beauty is so cruel

Sylvia Plath Sylvia Plath you don't know how much love my pants hath...
For you-- you stupid Jew--
I'll show you the rack and the screw--
With my rod you will know whose God--
For with every shove
You will feel my Love

You can't fathom your problem

(Sylvia Plath killed herself through asphyxiation by sticking her head in a gas stove and turning it on. In so doing, she left two kids-- in some circles that is cowardly.)

Damn my hourglass eyes Damn my hourglass eyes--
This I think I see I cannot hide--
Things to be for those who go before--
Concerning only me and nothing more--
I first died at sixteen this I cannot hide--
Bumped the head and bruised that which was inside--
Now a broken toy-- a limping dog with two legs--
Won't have the chance to learn that giving dance--
My only reward I'm told,
Is that violent forgetfulness when I grow old

The Bike Trail This I must do
I have to rape you.
Going on your weary back,
Pushing myself as we continue.
Through you I will come
And always you groan
Every step, every breath
I gasp, you moan—
Anywhere I could go
But you I will only follow

The Bike Trail

(This is about running; I’ll go over it line by line for you. The first two lines are easy— when you are running along a trail you are hurting it through erosion, usage, etc. The third line is true because you are running on a path, not over it. The fourth is about fighting through the pain, making yourself run when your body wants you to stop. The fifth is also true for you are going somewhere ‘He came jogging down the path’. When you take a step—even walking—the ground beneath you makes a sound from your foot hitting it which is what the next line is talking about. The next two lines are basically describing that action. You are gasping for breath as your going and the ground beneath your feet makes a sound as you run or walk over it. The last two lines simply say that you could go anywhere but you are following the trail instead. I hope this makes sense to you.)

Beauty and Kindness Beauty and Kindness
It is believed the latter comes with the former,
But that is not right.
The former is something for which we yearn--
While the latter is something that we learn.
They rarely come together

ED I write a mean word--
A textured catchword that sings like a mockingbird--
But I can't tell you the last time anyone had heard--
My teacher was dead before she was ever read

Never them will we thank Never them will we thank--
Those that make a fork in our way--
Even for the Beauty that is wrought

The stupid-Jews There we are--
Lost-- all of us--
No longer able to speak that unwritten language--
Sentenced to camps and environments unknown--
We are the stupid Jews.

Beauty is a flame Beauty is a flame--
Short if shallow, long if true--
Painful when not understood--
Yet a delight if you could--
It burns my heart

The Joker Laugh-- Laugh that shrill, piercing laugh--
For as God you deal that fateful hand
Making them know 'What Is And What Will Never Be'--
Laugh that laugh,
For yours is the "Killing Joke"

Everything can be Anything Everything can be Anything,
For a Rose can be called anything other and still be.
But Anything cannot be Everything,
For that is god's domain

The Darkness is coming again The Darkness is coming again--
And I can see no end.
My Jealous-Hate is tapping at the door...
It is crying--
Can you hear it--
It is crying for something more

If there be Light at the end of this Night--
Still the Loneliness will not

The Darkness is coming--
Can you hear it--
It is coming again,
And I can see no end

You and me, we are energy You and me, we are energy;
The dust from stars
That created us and planets as Mars.
And when we die it's okay to cry
Since we may then just become energy again;
That doesn't have a mind and is unrefined,
Having no soul as it goes into a Black Hole

You and me, we are energy You and me, we are energy;
The leftover remnants of stars
That helped create us and planets as Mars.
And when we die, no need to cry
For I think then we become ourselves again.
But if you want to fear some great ill
Be here for the "Great Crunch or Chill"

I'll never forget dying I'll never forget dying--
It was one of the best things that ever happened to me--
Because I lived
