imagine and dream Watching my grand-children run and play

Makes the mind wander, back to the day

When you saw all things as fresh and new

And you could imagine, the splendid view

As you float on the clouds, in this sky of blue

You see rays of the sun, drying the morning dew

It seems the older you get, the faster the pace

Or is that our excuse for joining in the workplace

To enjoy the smell in the air from fresh mowed hay

Or watching a squirrel that stops, turns and runs away

You say It is a waste of time, it won't pay the rent

You should be chasing the life, where money is spent

If you only teach children to be better then other men

It will cripple the spirit of this life, like a carcinogen

The earth we have borrowed from our grand-children you see

Will you return a lush garden or a dead sea?

Question without fear. You silence the noise, from your electric clock

turn on the lights, shower and your coffee pot

Do you feel blame for what you have done

Since, the clock signaled, your day had begun

Hundreds of simple tasks, that we do everyday

No qualm of consequence, cost or whom will pay

Trying to survive, with wife and children we create

No concern of air, sea, land or errors we berate

In life's maze we seek wealth and that better life

Finding lies, debt, plague and fear, in this forest of strife

Spirit weak hopeless, afraid, when any query is raised

behind apathy and delusion hide, earth will be unfazed

Nuclear and chemical waste, contaminates all the land

The food chain was tainted, all mutations will expand

Creating wealth is more critical then all human life

knowledge kept repressed, so arrogance could thrive

People's voice was muted, for way to many years

Unanswered questions persist, we can't afford to fear

Prospects to correct mistakes to save this great land

Seems ironic to say but, "Are in the Peoples Hands".

My Autumn Dream A request to tell all of your kinfolk

That are inside Heavens Gate

To keep watch on one of my folk

For she has a special date

Their just east of South Dakota

Though she's in a different state

For these Doctor's in Minnesota

Want a team to secure her fate

Their are many special surgeons

Who all do their job first rate

Prayers are needed, even sermons

Don't want any wishes to be late

In spring they plan for her to home

I guess Grampa, will have to wait

Hate Free Horizon Eloquently put, I personally think it's because of man's need to blame others to justify himself. I think the flow is good and the idea of a hate free horizon is great but, until man deals with his enemies within this will not come to pass.
