My name is Jasmine Whipps, affectionately known as Jay. Whipps. I am a musician and poet. I have been writing since I was in middle school and singing since I was five. I just love how poetry lets me express myself in the most direct and indirect way. My favorite poets are Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, and Paul Laurence Dunbar. Yes, I love the Renaissance period in history. Lol. Well this is me!
