Remember when they ignored you
Said you couldn’t be there friend
Looked at you with such hatred…
Who was there in the end?
I was always around you…
When times were rough
Never took you for granted
When push came to shove!
I gave you the little that I had
Just to see you smile
Always wanted the best for you
But you shunned me fora while
You have no idea…
How much that affected my heart
Of all the selfish things,
That was what tore me apart!
Had me on my knees…
Asking God so many times… why?
What did I do to deserve this?
But God did not want to reply…
All I wanted you to know
Is that I have alway scared
Even after your idiculed me
The hatred seemed to disappear
From my broken and shattered heart
My empty and delusional soul
For when I cleared my mind
Making you happy again became my goal!
I never held it against you
Even after you made me cry
Because no matter the pain
I still felt like I should try…
To make it work for us
So we could go far
No matter how stubborn,
Ignorant and naive you are
I just want what’s best for you
Even if your attitude I can’t bear
For when it comes down to it
I will and have always cared!!!
