Poet’s Walk

Blog Posted:2/21/2008 3:55:00 PM

American photographer, Henri Siberman’s black and white photograph "Poet's Walk" invites one to a conscious awareness of being alone after a pelting rain, when the sound only a raindrop sliding from a leaf to tap the topside of an umbrella is noticable.

I love the rhythmic pitter-patter of a fresh rain and the quiet that follows.

Outstanding photo! You can feel the cleanness of the trees with the atmosphere hanging heavy between them. I'm sure beautiful poetry came out of the Poet's Walk. ~J~

Great photo, Caryl...Ansel Adams is one of my favorites when it comes to black and white photography...although Herb Ritts is another photographer who passed away before his time. Peace always, John

There is something about the smell of the ozone after a summer rain. A lot of good music (poetry) with rain in the title. Good Bless. Vince
