Gratitude for family memories, quiet and good health

It's been a long time since I've blogged.  I've been caught up in the business of preparing for Thanksgiving.  I'm thankful that I took out some time to send cards to long-time friends and family, of course, yesterday.  For that's what it's all about.  There are so many memories connected to holidays.  I didn't even realize they were there until I was pressured to write about them during a writing class.  Then sounds and smells and energy arose.  I hope I can use this lesson and make time to write more often.  Here is one of mly favorite quotes.  It is so true, don't you think?  for only in quiet can one mine what is interior to the spirit.

It takes a lot of time to be a genius. You have to sit around so much, doing nothing, really doing nothing.”

Tonight though, I'm ee specially grateful for good health and the energy to enjoy the holidays with family.  I had a very minor scare -- just enough to wake me up and make me realize how truly fortunate and lucky I am.

Have a wonderful time with your family and friends ... i would love to get the the US one day and celebrate Thanksgiving it sounds a marvelous occasion. Your final paragraph hit home with me - my husband's cancer was a turning point in our lives ... it makes you focus on what is important and that is health, and your family and friends - material things really don;t matter ... if you have good health you truly are the richest person in the world. :-) hugs jan xx

Thanks for op to get to know you a little. Better. I'm sure you'd love TG here. If you ever come to the states, I'm betting many of us would love to introduce you to a TG holiday. You live in a very beautiful locale. You must feel this peace in many of the scenic areas. Enjoyed your bio too.
