Solitude Update

Thank you to all those who entered my

SOLUTIDE

contest.

I was overwhelmed with how quickly this competition filled up. Thank you all for your enthusiasm. I had placed a Sept 15 deadline, as I knew my time would be under more demand up until that date.

Also as promised I said that I would try and understand each poetic form that was presented in this competition, so as some of you may have seen, I have been looking at these different poetric forms, and reading Soup poems of those forms. This is of course taking me a little time, especially as I am enjoying doing so.

So not only thank you for your enthusiasm for entering my competition. But also I appreciate the patience which you are showing while you wait for my judging.

Please rest assured, the judging process is underway, although I would expect that the final decision still to be possibly two weeks off.

Take your time. There will be so many wonderful entries to sift through that it's a miracle to find a moment ! I enjoyed this contest, so win or lose, I've still won : I get to read everyone else's poems !
