The Measure of Love - Leon Stacey's Blog

I have found out that love can be measured by height, width, length, breadth and depth.  I have discovered that it can fall and be buried like a seed in the earth, then left to die to break through the dirt and sprout into a stalk.  It can be harvested like bundles of wheat and ground like those grains to make bread in the fire.  It can be devoured.  I have seen that love can be crushed like grapes to make the sweetest juice or set to ferment into the reddest wine.  It can be bottled.   Love fills the form and limits of its containers.  Its Spirit is strong.  It can overflow or be poured out.  Love can be cupped in your hands and drank spilling from the sides of your mouth in haste, then kissed from your cheeks, neck and breasts.   It can saturate your clothing and every fiber of your soul.  It can strengthen you.  Depending on how much you allow in your heart, it can sustain you for the second mile.  It can expand your limits and enlarge the width, the breadth, the height, the length and depth of your borders.  It will be your domain in war, and during battle love can help you be invincible.  You will hold your peace and win the fight because love will never fail.  And it will help you to never end.
