- I have received four such messages ..... I am unsure ...is it "real" or "error"! ? !

yes a couple of months ago a guy contacted me in the same way you were and wanted to put one of my poems to music..I thought about it a few days and allowed it as this is only a hobby for me, haven't heard anything since.

Anne -Lise, I have also received similar emails and I treat them as scam, I block the person right away, please don't get sucked in by this sort of thing, there is something just not right . . .that is my opinion anyways

Oh dear Anne.. beware of those messages/emails with emails or link contents... they are mostly fraudsters or hackers trying to gather some of your personal details and so fort.. it's a cyber crime that we must all be aware of... Hugs <3 <3 I also had one like this and when I replied to it's email, then a sender started to tell more lies just to catch my attention and trust.. Be vigilant ! ^_^

I haven't received any thing like this. But be cautious. People keep calling me to be on their pod casts... but then want to charge me... It's a business where they win... I pay. I don't trust them. They don't want me they want money.

Anne, my advice is to first do a Google search of the name they give. Then if it is a name that has sufficient record and information, consider researching further, and contacting any legitimate links given within that Google search. Proceed each step with caution , and do as I did, ask several other trusted friends and family to help verify. CAUTION being very important.

Always check out the person sending such a request. Yes, some are scams but some are true requests by people that desire to use a poet's work for various reasons, number one is usually--they love and admire that particular poem. My recent request from Peter Klatzow, to use my poem, A *Vast And Exploding Night Sky* is legitimate and quite a great honor for me!

- Reindeer is a danger in traffic in Norway, but not so much here on the west coast as I live - Enormously large animals !!! - Norwegian roads have many curves :) - Hope it went well, welcome back :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

BTW Anne-Lise, Did I ever tell you about a trip I took to Norway some years back. I was picking up my hire car from the airport when the girl there warned me to be careful of the reindeer, apparently they are responsible for 90% of road accidents, this information led me to wonder why they let them drive lol der. It's most likely a scam of some sort Anne-Lise, before you know it he'll be asking for money to record etc, best to ignore this kind of thing. Take care, Richard
