A Rainbow Sky
I wrote a poem … it was called “JADE” about a woman that I met, and started dating, she is black and I am white, to me I saw no difference in color, I only see what she means to me. In the time that we have been together I have seen people (both white and black) look at us in scorn. I have actually heard black men ask their friends why a black woman would be with a white man and other instances where white women asked their friends why a white man would be with a black woman!!!! RUBBISH
I have an answer for you, its actually simple … WE ALL DREAM THE SAME COLOR!!!! Close your eyes and wish for a thing and it is all black and white, the perfect thing of imagination is that there is no color … its simply there, and always will be regardless of race.
I deeply feel sorry for those of you that feel that the color of skin may in some aspect reflect the beauty within a person, it is not their tinge that makes them what they are, however, it is “who they chose” to be, that makes them the person that they are
Black or white, orange or grey, brown or … WHATEVER!!!!! The woman that I fell for is black, I am white, and I will never apologize for having emotions for another human being, regardless of what color she is …. I only see one color … and that color is LOVE
