Born in Skipton raised in the village of addingham in wharfedale, moved to New Zealand for 36 years, now a resident of Perth Western Australia, i have 2 sons 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren..Sons were born in the uk, 2 grandchildren in New Zealand, 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren are true blue aussies.

ANGEL RANGEL
True story is this!! In the bitterly cold snow fall of last friday night this footballer and his wife,
took to the streets of Swansea Wales, to distribute left over food,for the homeless, maybe we should all this, and God bless them that do!!! So much we throw away these days,,not only food, but love, care, respect....it is just so nice to see a postitive story in the media,, i thought i would like to share it with you all!!!

we have soup runs every night in Cardiff where food and duvets are distributed, I used to go out on occasions, very worthwhile few hours.....Seren

We don't hear enough of all the good that people do. And when one good deed takes place, it inspires others to do good. I have witnessed more kindness in the last several months on a personal level, than ever before in my life. My daughter and grandson have been receiving such love and acts of kindness since my son-in-law passed away suddenly 2 months ago. Too many times to count gifts of food and gifts have been brought to her house, and annoymous envelopes of money, and gift cards have been left in her mailbox..which has been difficult to track down and thank these lovely people. As our thank you, my family has taken my grandson on a "little acts of kindness mission", passing forward the love.

A beautiful blog, Harry. reminds me of A NY passerby who captured a random act of kindness. On Nov. 14, NYPD officer made headline, while on duty in Times Square. The story goes, a female seen the officer go up an older homeless man without shoes sitting on 42nd Street, he left and then returned with a pair of $100 boots from a nearby store. The officer melted many icy New Yorkers' hearts online and TV. espeically my heart. Wish I could post the picture on this blog. The officer had no idea someone would take his act of kindness to the media. SANDY

Good Morning Harry... AM stopping by to say hi! I have not been here since I posted the blog for my granddaughter... ((Wow imagine these 5 whole days, seems like a life time)) anyways.... it felt nice staying off my computer these last 5 days... However, I scanned the soup and noticed I really did not miss a thing.. Well I did miss my friends here... In which I miss you and many others so so so much here at the soup. By the way *Now that My Little EZZELLE is doing SUPER :-).... I feel like making things happen for me here on the soup and life in general. Enough about me :-( ... what attract me to the soup right now, was the title on your blog. I have been here with little support. Your little story here got me thinking about all the things I take for granted and the negative aroma that follows me out here. Harry my dear sweet friend I wish to contribute to my community more than I did this past year. You have inspired a notion inside my bone... I will donate $250.00 to the Wesley Community Center for children. I will also donate all the unneeded toys and unneeded can foods... the reason for this: Harry, today I sat and shed some tears, because I have been greedy taking from the people that love me, just to feed places who love taking my money. I think I learned my lesson today. ~/~ crossing my fingers right now... Boy! I wish I had a mentor right now... Okay... I have to brag to you... cuz, it's been a while since you last heard from me...
