HELLO SOUPERS ...
HOPE AND PRAY ALL ARE SAFE FROM 'SANDY' ...
HAVE NOT BLOGGED FOR QUITE SOME TIME .. MY HUBBY RON
DOES ALL MY TYPING THESE DAYS AND NIGHTS DUE RO
SEVERE PARALYSIS IN BOTH MY HANDS NOW .. SO HE
DOES BEST HE CAN TO KEEP ME HAPPY ON P.S. AND IN CONTACT
WITH ALL MY PEERS AND FRIENDS HERE .. BUT THIS BLOG
IS NOT ABOUT ME ...

TODAY WE ARE EXTREMELY DEVASTATED AS TO THE DAMAGE
HURRICANE SANDY LEFT BEHIND IN NEW JERSEY HAVING MIXED
WITH A NOR'EASTER FOR A DOUBLE DOSE OF VIOLENT WEATHER.

THANK GOD WE ARE ALL SAFE .. 3 MILLION PEOPLE WITHOUT
POWER STILL .. GOVERNOR CHRISTIE SPOKE AT AN EMOTIONAL NEWS
CONFERENCE AFTER STORM SURGED TO CAPACITY EARLY MORNING.

PRAYERS ARE NEEDED FOR ALL WHO SUFFERED LOSS OF LOVED
ONES .. LOSS OF PROPERTY ..HOMES AND BUSINESSES BOTH.
SHELTERS ARE HOUSING 6000 PEOPLE THUS FAR.. RED CROSS
PROVIDING FOOD FOR HUMANS AND PETS ..

THE SHORE AND BEACHES ALL UNDER WATER .. BOARDWALKS LOST
50 FEET OR MORE TO OCEAN WAVES .. WE LIVE CLOSE AND ARE VERY BLESSED
TO BE BREATHING .. OUR NEW YORK NEIGHBORS SUFFERED ULTIMATE
DAMAGE TOO .. BUILDINGS COLLAPSED LIKE DOLL HOUSES .. ALL PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION STOPPED AS SUBWAY SYSTEMS UNDER TONS OF WATER ..

WE PRAY EVERYONE IS SAFE AND WILL BE ABLE TO RETURN TO THEIR
LIVES AND HOMES SOON .. IF THEY STILL HAVE A HOME LEFT..

THANKXX SOUPERS FOR YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT .. WE LUV U ALL ..

ONE WONDERFUL PIECE OF NEWS ...
MY YOUNGEST SON ERIC AND WIFE CHRISSIE WELCOMED A BEAUTIFUL
BABY BOY, ERIC CHRISTIAN, ON SEPT. 22ND .. WE ARE SO HAPPY AND HOPE U SHARE
IN OUR HAPPINESS .. A BLESSING AMONG SO MUCH LOSS ....

Linda Marie! My heart goes out to all those who were and still are affected by this awful storm! Relieved to hear that you fared well, despite the lashings of last night. CONFUSED!YOUR HOME IS INTACT? Yes, Sandy wrecked much. There are parts of the Carribean that are also devastated. Prayers go up and out to all those who are dealing with the destroyed homes... my area was barely touched, but Toronto, about 2 hrs from us, received some bad damage and a woman was killed by a sign hitting her. I think many of our friends here on soup may not have power... praying their loved ones are safe and that their homes were not too damaged. Bless you for your blog, honey! And congrats on the new birth!

Hey linda marie It is awful what the hurricane did to the East coast.We lost our power for about 5 hours and suffered extremely high winds. Take care buddy.. cory

THIS STORM IS THE MOST VIOLENT I HAVE SEEN IN MY 50 YEARS OF LIVING POETS .. THE EYE HIT DIRECTLY AT CAPE MAY, N.J. LAST NIGHT AT HIGH TIDE .. WE LIVE LESS THAN 20 MILES FROM SHORE .. WINDS AT 90MPH .. SCARY AND BRUTAL .. IT REMINDED ME OF THE END OF THE WORLD .. TIME TO THINK ABOUT LIFE AND IT'S IMPORTANCE .. BLESS ALL ..
