Beta Testing New Feature: Attach Audio to Your Poem

We are beta testing a new feature. Premium Members can now attach audio to their poems. Attach an audio file of your recited poem! Let others hear the way it was meant to be heard and read.To attach audio to a poem do the following:

Go to the My Poems page
Edit the poem you want to attach audio to
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the “Upload Audio for Poem...” section.
Upload the mp3 audio file or link to an mp3 audio file already on the internet.

IMPORTANT: Max file size = 3 MB...about 3 minutes for a compressed mp3 file. Compress your audio file before uploading. For files over 3mb you must link to the audio file on the internet or something like free audio cloud storage

would be great does not work cant connect a link tried different recording all end mp3 same fault everytime shame would like to use this feature

Only one of 3 audios I posted appear on the audio poetry list. Everything else worked fine.

Those first 2 poems I audio recorded have disappeared again PS. Voices Gently Calling and The Letter

it's easy peasy...if you use the app I mention below...it is already in an mp3..save it to your device and upload...presto....the tortoise wins the race : )

loaded a new poem and it worked fine, appeared on the list in audio but not the first 2.

My audios loaded and one appeared on the audio listing on the right column then disappeared. They are on my poems but not on the recordings list.

For LARGE MP3 files you just have to link to the large file (not upload it) using a free audio cloud service like this: https://www.opendrive.com/ . You just upload your file to the cloud service and then link to it.

MP3 files are larger than wma, I have files from 5.88 just text reading. Music lyrics w/ music background 4.27-3.18 small text reading 2.66

Having loaded an MP3 to my poem how does one access the audio? I hear nothing and can find nothing to trigger the audio.

Great to hear (pun intended)....for those of you who don't know how to make an audio file there is a free app called Super Voice Recorder that makes it very easy.

If you have windows you can go to your start menu and type in "sound recorder"...The recorder will pop up on the screen... press the red record button to begin...again to stop... it will save to your computer.

What an exciting new feature. When you developed the Poetry Art you put that in a separate link, that might be a good idea for this as well. Monitoring offensive material would be easier, and there is quite a large number of ads on the site that use audio, that might conflict with the poem audio. Just a couple of observations, I am glad you are coming up with new ideas and features.
