Sapardi Djoko Damono (born March 20, 1940 in Surakarta, Central Java) is an Indonesian poet known for lyrical poems. His best known works include Hujan Bulan Juni and Berjalan ke Barat di Waktu Pagi Hari (Walking to the West in the Morning).
