Life in the City

Written by: Russell Sivey

The sky an orange color, a warm hue In the city streets where you are still king Placed are old buildings near to what is new Each place has a history, where one sings Wires float in the air between all buildings In the city streets where you are still king Cars litter the streets finding they’re being Colors are put forth around the city Wires float in the air between all buildings A great piece of life sits in what I see What all will shine within the world today Colors are put forth around the city Life of this worldly place exists in day Age of this city pleases, and delights What all will shine within the world today Scenes of the city has plenty of sights The sky an orange color, a warm hue Age of the city pleases, and delights Placed are old buildings near to what is new
