A Green Isle

Written by: Sara Kendrick

The dark green of her eyes matches
An island far away
That lush green isle known as Ireland
A place to see one day

There is an arched shrub lined pathway
A gate there opens wide
So lush and green the passage there
It beckons come abide

Through a gate there's a lighthouse white
A beacon that flashes
A light to guide through darkest night
In the morn refreshes
