IT IS WHAT IT IS

It is what it is,
right or wrong, it IS
for good or for bad, it IS
it being.. it IS.

acceptance we deny,
circles we go,
searching for what is not,
blind eyeing what IS.

what already IS cannot be 
otherwise,
timeline has no turn,
the question is what shall,
for what IS may not be what it 
will be.

Tragedy may strike,
what was wall, now brick,
a step back beyond what was 
ever was,
what was is now none,
create the most of what still IS.

how dull it would be if it was all 
bright,
what good is a day like 
yesterday,
its the black that make light so 
bright, and back
as to rise, one must hail from 
below.
