perfection in death

Written by: john loving iii

Today I took all of Aprils
pictures down
I placed them in an album
so their still safe and sound
But gone are the images
of which visitors would ask
And my answer "My April"
now part of my past
Placed to rest benieth
transparent pages
Motionless, voiceless and now ageless
I would wear April
with pictures of her faces
I kissed her pictures
on a regular basis
But it's time to depart
from my wanted wife
A short lived dream
in my so called life
I played house with something
less than a ghost
It was the best that I could do
besides compleatly lossing hope
