Nightmare Revisited

Written by: Paula Swanson

Within the realm of dreams, insanity will creep. Feasting upon the seams, of the fabric, time keeps. We then lose the clues, telling us we should wake. We all pay our dues, for the nightmares sake. Silent on cat paws, it slinks with the moon catching with its claws. A scream harpoon, in black and grey. Runs, the blood red, pointing the way, to our bed, where we lie, 'neath the clock and cry. Tick Tock Wake?
