For You

Written by: Nikola Žilic

There are about a hundred years of life,
Each making less sense than the other,
Without you.

There are galaxies to explore,
Dimensions to adore,
There are quarks and more,
Deep in lifes lore.

There are books to understand,
There are mighty rivers to bend,
And only time to prevent,
A man from his descent,
To meaning.

Yet, it all makes little sense,
Without you.

There are nights that take me far,
Where joy and drunkness replace stars,
There are nights so divine and profound,
That every sound takes me around,

Yet, my mind stays close to earth,
Not because birth has cursed me here,
But because truths are so few,
Without you.
